Well, this blog that is. I’ve been pouring my thoughts over here for the past 6 years ? Well actually this is one of the blogs that I manage to maintain and still remember the passwords haha! It’s time for housekeeping. For real! I honestly can’t keep up with too many blogs. This, cooking and photography. So, I decided to move this one over. Meaning, I won’t be adding any more new post here. This will be the last post for this blog. So, where’s new home ?

I MISS YOU

I love browsing through photos I’ve taken. Today, as I was browsing through photos of family, I saw photos of my dad and I immediately feel pain. Lots of pain. It’s been almost 5 months and I still feel like my dad is just going some place and he will come back. The whole thing still feels like a big nightmare and I’m still hoping that I will wake up from it soon. I don’t know why this week I think a lot about him. Not that I never thought about him before, but this week I couldn’t help but keep on thinking how I wish I could see him for one last time. How I wish I went home earlier when he was still hospitalized. How I wish he could meet Fiorina. I know…all the useless thoughts.
I saw photos of him standing next to my mom and I just couldn’t believe that he is gone…just like that!
The healing process takes time and I just miss him and looking at recent photos of my mom without him is just difficult. I’m trying to think positive at the same time though. He is at the best place he deserves. I have lots of stories about grandpa to tell Fiorina when she is older. Sob…tears! I need to do this once in a while!!

NEW CAR

…for Fiorina that is.
So, this was almost 3 months ago when she still wanted to be kept in there all bundled up in late spring.

The girl doesn’t want to have anything to do with the infant car seat/stroller anymore. She made lots of noises, pretty much protesting for being put in there. She has pretty much outgrew the car seat.
So, I was in search for a new stroller for her. I didn’t know buying something for your baby could take up so much of your time. I spend so much time reading reviews, comparing brands and features. My head went dizzy just looking at gazillion of strollers out there. While having choices is nice, making a decision of which one to buy is rather painful!!! I don’t want a full size stroller because it is too heavy for most women to even get it out from the car. I want an umbrella stroller, but not too light that it doesn’t last long.

Thank goodness for input from other mommies and finally I purchase the Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller (BJCM). BJCM is not exactly an umbrella stroller, it’s more of a midsize stroller weighing merely 16 lbs and that’s really more manageable than a 25 lbs full size stroller. I will be the one using this stroller more for running errands with Fiorina, so the weight of the stroller is really important. A lot of people is using MacLaren’s stroller and I almost purchased a MacLaren too, but I hated the skimpy canopy. Thank goodness I didn’t buy it.

I absolutely fall in love with this BJCM. Amazing stroller with its patented fold technology! Amazing. You can even fold the stroller with one hand with your baby in your other arm. Love the three-wheel design and you can push the stroller with one hand. You never thought you will need all these features, but believe me, it’s really nice to have those features. If you watch the video at Baby Jogger’s website, you will be amazed by how quick this thing folded up.

I purchased it at diapers.com on Wednesday and a big package was in front of the porch by Friday noon. Isn’t that amazing? and it’s free shipping too! not to mention it’s tax-free as well. Love the whole deal!!!
So, here is Fiorina in her new car. She absolutely loves it. I don’t hear her fussing being in her stroller
anymore!!!!!

By the way, Fiorina is 8-month old today! Geez! my baby is growing too fast!!!!!!!
